Gentiana clusii - This species is usually grouped with the Gentiana acaulis group. Dark blue, 1" long trumpets are produced in spring on very small plants. A very desirable plant for the rock garden. Gypsophila aretioides – - This plant is the hardest cushion plant we grow and may also be the easiest. Tiny leaves make a solid cushion with only an occasional flower. The cushion slowly increases in size. Our 5 year-old mother plant is about 4” across. Place it in full sun in a well drained rock garden soil.
