This is our catch-all category for wildflowers which are native to North America east of the Mississippi River. Some of these plants will require special soil or care in selecting a site. The majority will be happy in any well drained garden soil in full sun. Check for growing conditions in the listing for each plant.

Iris cristata - One of our native Iris that produces its beautiful blue flowers in late spring. Will form nice colonies in just moist, humus-rich soil in sun or light shade. (6”h x 10”w) 3.5” - $5.00

Iris sestosa v. canadensis (Beachhead Iris) – - Native to Arctic beaches and venturing as far south as Maine, this delicate Blue Flag is a collector’s item. Will need moist soil in a cool spot that none-the-less gets good light (sounds like the Arctic). (10”h x 6”w) B, 3.5” - $6.00
