Stachys officinalis ‘Nana’ - - A dwarf Betony only a few inches tall, this has lovely clusters of pink flowers. It is easy and happy in any well drained soil in full sun. (5”h x 5”w) 3.5” - $5.50

Synthyris pinnatifida v. laciniata - Spikes of blue-purple flowers are produced in early spring before basal clumps of toothed leaves appear. Best in scree conditions in a cool, sunny spot. Seed collected at 11,000 feet on Iron Mtn., UT. (6”h x 8”w) RG, 3.5” - $5.00

Telesonix jamesii - A choice member of the Saxifraga family, this one produces spikes of magenta pink flowers on 8" stems above a neat rosette of scalloped leaves. Requires rock garden conditions in partial shade. Seed collected in Teller Co., CO at 12,600 ft. (8"h x 6"w) RG, T, 2.5"-5.00

Thlaspi aff. rotundifolium v. limosellifolium Thlaspi aff. rotundifolium v. limosellifolium - A selection which forms a dense mound of dark green leaves with small, fragrant pink flowers in very early spring. It is very important to dead head this species. Grow in lean, well drained soil in full sun.( 6"h x 5"w) RG, T, 2.5" - $5.00

Thuja occidentalis ‘Hetz Midget’ – Thuja occidentalis ‘Hetz Midget’ – - A miniature, globe-shaped arborvitae, which will grow to about one foot in a decade. Soft green foliage is very nice. Vaccinium macrocarpon - Good old cranberry is very attractive in flower as well as in fruit. The flowers look like little “shooting stars”. It doesn’t need a bog although it likes constant moisture during the growing season. Decumbent branches spread out so give it room. Moist, acidic soil or bog conditions in full sun. Vaccinium macrocarpon ‘Hamilton’ Vaccinium macrocarpon ‘Hamilton’ - This miniature shrub has a lot going for it. Tiny, congested, bright green leaves are covered with little pink flowers that look like tiny shooting stars. Bright red berries are produced in the fall. Then the leaves turn a reddish color for winter. Happy in a humus-rich, moist, acidic soil in full sun. (5”h x 5”w) RG, T, 2.5”- $5.50              Out of Stock

Vaccinium vitis-idaea v. minus- Vaccinium vitis-idaea v. minus- - - Our native, miniature Mountain Cranberry is a great plant to carpet an area of a peat bed or acidic, well drained soil. This plant makes a mat of bright-green leaves with pink bells in spring. Red berries mature during the summer as the leaves slowly turn to a pretty, dull red color. Best in full to partial sun. Viola aff. pedatifida Viola aff. pedatifida - This "larkspur violet" has deeply cut leaves which are attractive in their own right. Viola coreana (Hort.= Viola coreana Syletta) - I can’t peg down the correct name for this Viola, which is none-the-less, established in the trade. It is a pretty foliage plant with leaf veins outlined in silver. It will be happy in a spot in partial shade.in moist, fertile soil and will self sow in a very genteel manner where it wishes to grow.
